Family-Owned Since 1983
40+ Years of Midlands Craftsmanship
From a single truck in Gilbert to a full-service landscaping crew trusted by hundreds of Midlands families — we've been building outdoor spaces that last since 1983.
Rooted in the Midlands
Live Oak Services started in 1983 with a simple idea: do honest work, charge a fair price, and stand behind every job. What began as a one-man lawn care operation in Gilbert, SC has grown into a full-service landscaping company serving homeowners and businesses across Columbia, Lexington, Aiken, and the surrounding Midlands.
We're still family-owned and operated. Every estimate is given by someone who will be on the job. Every project is completed by our in-house crew — not subcontractors. That's how we've kept our reputation for quality and reliability for over four decades.
Everything We Do
One call covers your entire outdoor project — design, installation, and long-term care.
Why Homeowners Choose Us
We've earned our reputation one yard at a time — here's what sets us apart.
In-House Crew, Every Time
We never use subcontractors. The same experienced team that gives your estimate does the work — so quality is consistent from start to finish.
Free Estimates, No Pressure
Every project starts with a free on-site consultation. We walk your property, listen to your goals, and give you a detailed quote — no obligation.
40+ Years of Local Experience
We know Midlands soil, climate, and drainage challenges better than anyone. That local knowledge shows in every project we complete.
Full-Service, One Company
From design through installation and maintenance, we handle it all. No coordinating multiple contractors — one call, one crew, one point of contact.
Trusted by Hundreds of Families
Most of our business comes from referrals and repeat customers. We take that trust seriously and work hard to earn it on every job.
Angi Leads Certified
We're background-checked and rated on Angi Leads, so you can hire with confidence knowing we meet third-party standards for quality and professionalism.
A Few of Our Favorites
Real projects from real Midlands properties — built by our crew, enjoyed by our customers.
We Show Up. We Do the Work. We Stand Behind It.
Every project we take on gets the same attention whether it's a small repair or a full backyard transformation. We're not the cheapest option in the Midlands — but we're the crew that shows up on time, communicates clearly, and doesn't leave until the job is done right.
